North Island Secondary Schools regatta 1-4 Mar 2018

Hannah and Holly - 1st in U17 Girls Double. Holly Chaafe won two golds and a silver as part of the MAGSRow squad at the North Island Secondary School Championships at Lake Karapiro. She won silver in the U17 Single Scull, gold in the U16 Single Scull, and joined Hannah Zwalue to win gold in the U17 Double Scull. Coach John Cook.

The Boys U15 Coxed Quad Sculls (as pictured above - Blake Jowsey, Ethan Welch, Callum Nicholson, Anthony Peters and Max Conder) won bronze medals. Coach Alex Brown.

There were 1852 students from 93 schools entered in 5091 seats in 1391 crews. 301 races were required to complete the regatta and find the winners of all the 50 events.

All over, MAGSRow qualified into 13 x A finals and 7 x B finals and went on to bring home 2 x Gold Medals, 1 x Silver Medal and 1 x Bronze Medal.
